Project Description

New build funeral directors, offices, workshop, chapels and garage in Westgate, Rotherham town centre.

A project with many challenges, located on a busy road with limited access and space on the sloping site, constructed within very close proximity to the neighbouring building, with piled foundations, split level retaining walls and pre-cast concrete floors. We then worked with the client to finish the building installing a bespoke casket platform lift, refrigeration and full electrical, networking and fire alarm installations.

Industrial Unit, Hellaby

Industrial Unit

Project Description

Internal office/training facility fit-out and internal alterations in Meadowbank, Rotherham

Completed for a large Plc client due to expansion; with bespoke steel staircase to access modern office/training facilities, constructed inside an existing industrial unit. The contract also included a new fire alarm, part electrical re-wire and external roof repairs to the existing building.

Moorgate Tennis Club

Project Description

Design and build of new clubhouse with shower, kitchen and communal/meeting facilities

The new clubhouse was constructed to the requirements of our client, which included fully equipped shower and changing areas accessible for the disabled, with a gallery patio area for spectators. While under construction full consideration had to be taken for the protected trees close by.

Pennington Court Nursing Home

Project Description

Fit out of 10 bedroom specialist care facility on Rotherham Road, Maltby.

Appointed as principal contractor under A JCT contract by national care provider ‘Voyage Care’. We made major structural alterations to the existing building, working with our clients project manager we delivered a fully completed care facility to our clients specification on time and on budget.

Dovetail House Nursing Home

Dovetail House

Project Description

4 Bedroom extension and remodel/refurbishment of kitchen, dining and communal areas in Mansfield.

We worked with the council’s conservation officer to match stone detailing to the existing and exposing existing stone feature walls within the building. The refurbishment consisting of major structural knockouts of 800mm thick walls and staircase reconfigurations all completed while the home was fully operational. We worked closely with our client to ensure their services were not interrupted and could be conducted in a safe manor.

Swinton Hall Nursing Home

Swinton Hall

Project Description

Refurbishment/remolding to form 27 bedroom care home in Swinton, Rotherham.

Appointed as principal contractor for the full refurbishment including; part re-roofing, extensive internal modelling, new lift, office extension to front, through to completion inclusive of specialised plumbing and electrical works. The project was completed to our client’s satisfaction, both on time and on budget.
